SIMPLE BODY PRACTICE
(Primary stabilization — use daily or at first signs of lift)
This practice is for returning awareness into the lower half of your body.
Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor
Scoot your hips slightly back so your weight is fully supported
Place your hands on your thighs or lower belly
Let your spine be neutral — not upright, not slouched
Press your feet gently into the floor and do not move
Stay here for 60–120 seconds.
Do not regulate your breath.
Do not “relax.”
Do not think about anything.
Let your body register:
weight
pressure
contact
support
This practice works because the body learns it is not floating and not under threat.
STABILIZATION RESET
(Interrupt — use when a spiral has already started)
This is for moments when your system is already speeding up.
Stop what you’re doing
Sit or stand completely still
Name one place your body is supported (chair, floor, wall)
Bring your attention below your waist
Press your feet into the ground for 10 seconds
Release
Repeat once.
You are not trying to feel better.
You are stopping upward momentum.
